Media Kit

Our online media kit is a work in process and will soon include everything you could ever want or need to know about the Foundation! In the meantime, we have some information below and please contact our Executive Director Anne Baunach, with any requests or questions. [email protected], (206) 631-3120.

The Highline Schools Foundation was founded in 1999 by a group of parents and community members with the foresight to ensure that the quality education that their children were receiving would be sustained. The Highline Schools Foundation is the only nonprofit organization serving all students in Highline Public Schools. We strive to bridge the gap between what the State of Washington provides our District and what our public schools need to provide our students with a well-rounded quality education.

Highline Schools Foundation

In 2012, the Foundation surpassed the $2 million mark in funding to our district. The money we raise goes directly to our district and the students in our community for critical areas of need – classroom enrichment, technology, arts, athletics, college scholarships and outreach to our neediest of students and their families.

During these difficult economic times, when local, state and federal government budgets are stressed, supporting our public school district and investing in the future of our children is  more important than ever. The Foundation plays a special role in supporting public education by enabling our school district and its teachers to get what is needed to help our students learn to their highest capability. The communities generous support enables the Foundation to make a positive impact on every child’s education here in our community.

Board of Trustees: The Highline Schools Foundation is governed by a group very devoted volunteer trustees. Our Board meets once a month. Board members are asked to work on a committee and offer support with a personal donation of time, making calls, general fundraising and supporting the mission of the Highline Schools Foundation.

We share Foundation news and success stories primary on our Blog and Facebook. We can also be found on LinkedIn and Twitter. More links to our online social media are below.
