Volunteer Opportunities

Project PROMise™

Project PROMise™ is Highline School’s Foundation’s outreach program in which new and gently used formal dresses are collected from our community and given to local students in need so they can attend their prom in style!

Project PROMise™ is a two-day event held every year where Highline District students in need go “shopping” for the perfect dress for their prom – for free! Our next Project PROMise™ event is happening the last weekend of April 2018 at the Burien Community Center. The event is split into sessions and besides day of volunteers, including personal shoppers, we also need help setting up the event on Friday and help after the event to pack everything up.

It takes many volunteers to make this event happen in a special way for these students. We hope you will be part of this rewarding outreach program. Our volunteers make this event happen! If you would like to be added to the volunteer list, please email us at [email protected] or call (206) 631-3120.

Graduate! Highline

More than two-thirds of the experiences and learning opportunities that shape a child’s life occur outside the classroom. Together, as a community, you can help guarantee every student has access to quality learning opportunities. There are many organizations doing GREAT work to graduate our Highline Public Schools students! You can help them expand their reach, serve more students, and close the opportunity gap by volunteering.  Click HERE to see the Community Partners Calendar, and more information about how you can get involved.
