Volunteer

The support of committed parents and teachers, business owners and community members is what makes it possible for us to successfully fulfill our mission as a foundation. There are so many opportunities for you to get involved; you are sure to find something you love! From collecting new/gently used dresses for Project PROMise™ to recognizing outstanding individuals in Highline Public Schools, we love to give back to our students and community.

We as a foundation are excited about the work we are doing and would be honored to have you come alongside us in our efforts!

Please contact the Highline Schools Foundation to discuss how YOU can get involved!

Volunteer Opportunities

Project PROMise™

Project PROMise™ is a full day event and it takes many volunteers to make this event happen in a special way for these students. .  Would you like to be part of this rewarding outreach program and donate your time to help a Highline student in need enjoy their prom?

The day is split into morning and afternoon sessions and besides day of volunteers, including personal shoppers, we also need help moving the dresses and setting up the event the day before (we’ll be building dressing rooms, setting out the shoes and jewelry) and help after the event to pack everything up.

Brat Trot

The Burien Brat Trot is one of the Northwest’s greatest community events! All day long, Olde Burien is alive with Bavarian Fest – a fun street festival complete with beer gardens, great food, music, giveaways and zany fun centered around the Burien Brat Trot 5K and 1 mile race. Please consider donating your time for this worthy cause – it will be a fun day and you will get a free Brat Trot volunteer t-shirt!
