Each year, Gold Star is a much-anticipated awards celebration and fundraiser for students in Highline Schools. In response to our community, we are presenting two Gold Star events this year!

 

A low-ticket price, evening reception called the Gold Star Awards BASH where all Gold Star Winners will be announced, and a Gold Star Awards Fundraising Breakfast that honors those winners and celebrates the good work going on in our schools with the support of the Highline Schools Foundation.

 

Gold Star Award nominations are open and sponsorships are available! Information on our two events are below.

A public education isn’t free. It is up to us in the community to narrow the gap between what State funding can provide and what our students need. The Foundation exists solely for this purpose—as a conduit for directing community resources toward these needs. Your help is critical!

2012 Annual Gold Star Awards Nominations


The Annual Gold Star Awards honor outstanding district educators, volunteers, alumni and staff in the Highline Public School District.

 

We are currently seeking nominations for the following categories:

 

  • Outstanding Teacher
  • Outstanding Classified or Professional Support Staff
  • Outstanding Volunteer
  • Outstanding Administrator
  • Outstanding Alumnus
