Excel Grants

Final Reports are due by April 1, 2012. Report forms were

The Excel Grant and MAD Grant Prize Patrol went to 30 schools over a 3 day period in November 2011 and distributed $31,608 in grants to the teachers and staff! A big thank you to everyone who made this possible ... especially the office staff at each school who helped us coordinate the dates, making sure the teachers were in the building and all without letting them know we were coming!

You can find a complete list of all the winners here and pictures on our Facebook page here.

The Excel Grant program was created to support classroom innovation in our district and to provide teachers the resources they need to help our students be successful! The deadline to apply has passed for 2011. 2012 information will be posted after the summer break.

Every attempt is made to distribute funds throughout the district. In the rare case of similar grants coming from the same schools, the review committee will contact the applicants to discuss options.

Every grant receipient is required to file a final report upon completion of the project. This year, reports are due by April 1, 2012. Extensions can be requested in advance for projects that are completed later in the school year.

We wish you the best in this process and throughout the year. Thank you for helping to shape a bright future for the students in Highline Public Schools.
