New Teacher Welcome Boxes

Being a new teacher can be as terrifying as being a new student …

Since 2002, Highline Schools Foundation has welcomed new teachers to Highline Public Schools with a “Welcome Wagon” style gift box filled with goodies provided by local businesses. These boxes are not only a way for all of us to welcome our new teachers to our community and help them learn about their new district, but they are a great way for you to introduce your business to a new customer!

Thank you to our local businesses for all your support!

2016 Contributors: Elliott Bay Brewhouse & Pub, King County Parks, Hot Feet Fitness, Emerald City Smoothie – Burien, Patti Gifford, Scott Gifford, Gilbert Family Dentistry, Round Table Pizza – Burien, King County Library – Burien, MARK Restaurant & Bar, Paws  Relax Doggie Day Care, Alaska Airlines, The Hi-Liners Musical Theatre, Museum of Flight, Kent Valley Ice Centre, Pit Stop Oil Change Center, Burien Actors Theater, Matt Griffin YMCA, Maven Mercantile and Newspapers in Education – The Seattle Times

Your contributions to these boxes are very much appreciated by both the Foundation and the new teachers who get them!

If you, or your business, would like to donate small items for next year’s New Teacher Welcome Boxes, please contact the Foundation at 206-248-5196 or [email protected].
