Sharon Wilson retired from the district in 2009 after many years of services as a teacher, reading specialist and coach. Her passion and energy for teaching was evident in every conversation. She remained dedicated to student success and to improveing the quality of instruction for all students. Sharon began the Principals Certification program in 2007 but unfortunately her health did not allow her to complete the program.
The Sharon Wilson Memorial Principal Certification Scholarship enables others to complete what she could not. Today, after her passing, we are proud to tell her story and help carry on her legacy of providing quality education to Highline Public Schools.
